I get that we’re not supposed to like Sgt. Donovan because she doubts our perfect precious hero, but omg the shit that this fandom says about her is just awful.
She and Sherlock are mean to each other. Sherlock is mean to a lot of people. I’m not excusing them throwing insults at each other. But, I mean, if this same show was from anyone else’s perspective, she’d be a hero. We’d all be screaming at the television, “WHY DOESN’T ANYONE INVESTIGATE THE GUY WHO SHOWS UP RANDOMLY AT CRIME SCENES WITH ALL THIS INFORMATION. SOMEBODY LISTEN TO SALLY, PLEASE OMG.”
So fine, if you don’t like her, that’s one thing. The show has made it pretty clear that we’re not really supposed to like her. But omg just please calm down a bit. She is definitely not deserving of all the crap that gets said about her.
